The Roller Coaster Alley team was at Silverwood in July 2017, and we have a plethora of great new pics to share!

As we entered the bag check area, we found a third tent set up for approaching guests. We're very happy with this new location, and a third tent shows that the park is committed to accommodating the big crowds.

As usual, Garfield and Odie were on hand to entertain in the main plaza.

As is customary for us (and should be for you as well) we start our mornings with fresh baked pastries from the bakery. Here's a favorite: the caramel praline cinnamon roll.

Another - the blueberry muffin top. Seriously folks, if you're not stopping here on your way in, you are missing the single best sweets in the entire park.

We made our way first to Boulder Beach. A big change this year, as the tube rental counters have been moved to near the actual tube pickup area. Sort of one of those "why weren't they doing this all along?!?!" moments. It's a good move.

You now rent your tube at the window, and pick it up in the same place as usual, just behind.

Lockers can now be rented at rental machines. Very nice to see them embracing the latest technologies like this.

Here is one of the machines close up. They are pretty nifty.

Here's a change we are not fans of. The "spiral spuds" shop no longer sells those neat twirly fried potatoes, but instead has shifted its name to "subs and spuds" and features more traditional French fries. On the plus side, the subs were a nice alternative to the more standard options at other restaraunts in the water park.

The original wave pool had its building repainted. What was a faded picture of trees and moose is now a simple blue wall.
