This October, Silverwood Theme Park will host its very first Halloween Event! Are you brave enough? Here are the exciting details:
Daytime Family Activities
Days will be filled with family-fun and activities with the park being decorated in a Halloween theme. Kids will be able to decorate their
own Halloween cookies, trick or treat along the Garfield trail and participate in a costume contest with prizes awarded for first, second
and third best costumes each day. The top ten costume winners will then compete for a grand prize of a 2010 Gold Season Pass with the
other nine first place winners receiving a 2010 Single Season pass.
Contest open to children ages 12 and younger. NO COSTUMES ALLOWED for guests 13 years of age or older.
Saturday Nights - Scarywood Haunts
Come to Life
On Saturday nights, the park will transform into Scarywood Theme Park consisting of two chilling attractions. Thunder Canyon raft ride
will become Terror Canyon Walking Trail complete with a maze, fog and graveyards where sasquatch, zombies, werewolves and vampires wait
to attack. And, if that wasn't enough the mild-mannered Steam Engine No. 7 train will become the MidFRIGHT Express a 3 mile long train
ride of terror with explosions, flying ghosts and ghouls, crazy miners and much more!
In addition, the park will have several scare zones just to make sure our guests are always on edge, Nick Norton presents
"Nightmare" a show of illusions and you get the chance to ride all your favorite rides in the dark including the Timber Terror
and Tremors roller coasters!
After 6:30pm on Satudays the following Silverwood rides will remain open until close:
Tremors Roller Coaster, Timber Terror Roller Coaster, Panic Plunge, The Sky Diver, Roaring Creek Log Flume, Tilt-A-Whirl, The Trabant,
The Corkscrew Roller Coaster, The Scrambler, The Round-up, The Ferris Wheel and Krazy Kars. Aftershock will be closed for the remainder
of the 2009 season.
Night time haunted attractions are NOT recommended for children 12 and under. Again, NO COSTUMES ALLOWED for guests 13
years of age or older.

*Season passes are vaild for entry to the park in October thru November 1st. Tickets for Haunted attractions are only $7 per person for
