Silverwood Theme Park version 3.0

UPDATE FOR 2/5/03

Roller Coaster Alley is proud to be the internet’s source for exclusive, breaking news about Boulder Beach, the new water park at Silverwood Theme Park scheduled to open on July 4, 2003.

That’s right folks – you’ve waited patiently for Silverwood to add something new since Tremors made it’s debut in 1999 – four long years. Now, all that waiting is about to pay off in the form of a state-of-the-art themed water park – Boulder Beach.

Detailed on the map above (courtesy of nuttyguy.com), guests will pay one price, $27.99 (slightly raised this year for obvious reasons) and get into BOTH parks – Silverwood Theme Park and Boulder Beach. Boulder Beach will be located in the Northwest corridor of the park. Guests will enter the park near the Silverwood Ice Palace building.

Boulder Beach will be it’s own animal – fully equipped with food court, restrooms, lush scenery, and many places to explore. Both the slides and the area itself will be heavily themed, something Silverwood has already proved they can do well.

Then, there are the actual attractions themselves. The centerpiece of Boulder Beach will be Big Moose Bay – a giant 22,000 square-foot wave pool. Elkhorn Creek will be a one-fifth mile long lazy river – complete with waterfalls – the perfect way to float the day away. The Rumble Falls area will consist of four giant 2-person tube slides: Pioneer Plunge, Boca Loca Chute, Sidewinder, and (our personal favorite) H2-Uh-Oh. Finally, there’s Pollywog Park: a huge water slide/play area for the kids with six slides, pools, and other interactive areas to explore. Details on the above map show that future plans for expansion include even more slides and acreage to enjoy at Boulder Beach.

Be sure not to miss out on any of the action at Boulder Beach during its inaugural summer. It’s sure to provide a ton of new and exciting thrills at the Northwest’s premier theme park.

And be sure to keep checking back with Roller Coaster Alley for construction photos, and all the latest news and gossip surrounding Boulder Beach. Roller Coaster Alley will be there every step of the way with this project as we continue being your #1 internet source for Silverwood Theme Park. Remember, you heard it here first!
