Roller Coaster Alley is pleased to announce that Silverwood will be adding a new thrill ride for
the 2006 season! During a recent trip to the park, the RCA team couldn't help but notice this new banner hanging
from the back side of Lindy's restaraunt in the court yard:
Although no official announcment has been made as to what this "new giant" will be, the rumor mill has been
hinting lately that an S & S drop tower will be built next season. This fits the description on the banner
perfectly, however, only time will tell. As always, RCA will be there with you every step of the way! Check
back with Roller Coaster Alley for more updates on this new attraction for 2006!
If you have any information you'd like to submit, please
e-mail us. Also, when construction begins, feel free to send
in any photos of the rides' progress!
In other news, we noticed that some of the shoulder restraints on the Corkscrew have been removed.
The word on the street is that they are to be replaced with brand new, softer restraints. It looks as if this
upgrade will be done in phases, starting with the back four rows.

Here you can see the back four rows with no restraints. This means riders are limited to the remaining eight
rows until the new restraints come in.
Again, please
e-mail us with any information or photos you'd like
to submit about the upgrade to the Corkscrews' restraints.
