UPDATE FOR 6/13/04

A great overview of Boulder Beach as its skyline slowly changes...you can see in the distance the white tower that will hold the three Velocity Peak slides. These will be two speed slides and an enclosed slide...all three will be "body slides" meaning there will be no tubes needed!

Here's a close-up of the stairs that riders will have to climb for each trip down Velocity Peak. It will be well worth the hike.

Here's a view of the Velocity Peak tower under construction next to Rumble Falls. You can see just how high these towers will be in comparison to the rest of the water park.

Here again is an overview of the tower for Velocity Peak, as it looks from the Rumble Falls slides. You can see the slides will head down toward the wave pool area rather than toward the freeway as was previously reported. Summer just isn't close enough!
